Swedish ska/reggae group formed in Sundbyberg outside Stockholm in 1995. The eight members have earlier played in various bands, the music ranging from reggae and afro to soul, jazz and blues. These influences can be traced in Crooked Beats music. In february 1998 the group was supporting act and backingband to Judge Dread (rip) at his concerts in Sweden. They are represented with “The Prince” on “A Tribute To Madness”-compilation (Tribute 1998). Their debut-CD “The Crooked Beat” is now released by AMTY-records.
