Cheats for Championship Manager 2

Getting players for free

• Make sure the selling team and the player is interested.

• Offer the team any price that it accepts right away.

• Click on the option 'Adjust Offer'.

• Bring down the offer to 'FREE'.

• Do NOT press 'OK'! But DO press 'CANCEL'.

• You will now get your offer accepted...

Big Club Release

• Transfer list the player for LOAN.

• When clubs want him, then REJECT.

• Then your player won't leave the club.

Picking up future stars

• Right after the computer has done it's first update after season end, go to the Player Search screen.

• Go to the Euro Scout, and sort players by value.

• Browse down the list until you find players that have no average rating ("---").

• These are players that have replaced old stars.

• Buy them if you want, most likely they'll join you, no matter what team they play on.

• Be prepared to spend one season to build them up... remember; they're new!

National Team Manager

• Start a new game.

• Pick a national team.

• Type your name as the current national team manager.

• E.g. "Terry Venables" to become the England manager.

Player Exchange

• Your lousy, cheap player is wanted by another club.

• Adjust the asking price for this player to a VERY high price.

• Offer the player in exchange by making a bid for an interested player for the interested party's expensive star player.

Quit without saving

• You are loosing an important cup match and want to quit without saving.

• You push the * button.

• You have now have quit CM2 without saving.

Attacking Power

• Playing 4-4-2, move your left fullback to a striker position (in between the two strikers already there).

• Move your goalkeeper up as a left fullback.

• Your goalie now is supposed to be both a left fullback *and* a goalie, which gives you some more attacking power.

Shortlist players that are going to retire

• Shortlist those great players who are going to retire soon, eg.Klinsmann, Romario, Koeman, Gullit etc.

• When they eventually retire, those on your shortlist will be replaced by a very young player but with the same abilities as the previous retired player.

• You will then get many young yet talented players in your squad.

• For unpatched CM2.

"Normal" Cheat

• Add more managers (Max. 8).

• Do some nice transfer to swap good/bad players and to move some money from one bank account to another.
