Single Review - From Prospective Kitsch Yohoo!! Finally some new Swedish blood entering the synthpop scene! And more importantly. I like it! Kitsch reminds me a lot about the last hope I had for Swedish electro pop, Encounter, and find many similarities between the bands - the vocalist must be the same person. Kitsch´s pop is happy, catchy and oh so delightfully electronic! This must be the best this country has produced in quite a while. While I tend to write synthpop down as dull and often uninteresting Kitsch really fills the emty space that Encounter left behind. I will most likely listen to Kitsch for a long time and if they ever release a full length album I´ll be very sure to get it! Give Kitsch a try, it´s well worth it! /Andreas Ahlgren [7/10-01]
