This all-year-round cottage was built in appr. 1930. The living area is appr. 67 sqm, divided into three floors. Central heating (a heat pump, radiators). The house is in every way suitable even for a winter holiday. Water from our own, private, well is excellent to drink.
The ground floor:
This floor is newly renovated.
· Kitchen/dining room: Fully equipped. Chinaware and cutlery etc, electric cooker, oven, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, microwave oven.
· Living room: Colour TV (Swedish TV1, TV2, TV4), a wood-burning stove. Wintertime you can have floor heating.
· Bedroom: with a bunk bed (double-deckar).
The upper floor:
· Main bedroom: It has big windows with a wonderful view over the lake. A matrimonial bed. There is also a shower and a toilet. Colour TV.
· Bedroom: with a single bed.
Blankets, quilts and pillows are provided. There is no washing machine.
If you want to go from the first floor to the second floor, you’ll have to go out of the house first, go a few steps and than in to the house again. In other words there is no inner stairs between these floors. Normally that doesn’t cause any troubles. It concerns only a few yards. After dark the garden is fully illuminated. This planning can also be an advantage, it will suit two couple especially well.
The garden is large with lawns, apple trees, roses and so on. There are garden furniture and barbecue.
The bathing place by the cottage is rather new and excellent for bathing. There are a few small stones left to pick up from the bottom. But the first 10 –15 metres are free from stones. We are going to rebuild the jetty, just a little, during the spring. You can rent our rowing boat if you want.
The garden is pleasant and comfortable lighted up after dark (lampposts etc).
