BV 138 with unknown Wk.No

This aircraft was surprised by an unidentified enemy aircraft and shot down in the region of Ålesund a wintermorning 1942. It succeeded with an emergency landing but sank shortly thereafter. All the crew of five were rescued by a nearby fishing vessel.

The wreck was found in 1984 laying in 50 meters depth in rather good condition. Later a raise was attempted that unfortunatly failed. I have no info if the plane was further damaged by this event.
