One rainy late autumn afternoon we went to Leifs place
to pick his race motor up.

This is the best slip from last year with that 68 camaro of his.
Thatīs quite a feat considering WHERE we race
The series we run is run on regular streets!
Yup.True enough. We get permission from the local police,
put our protree up and basically go at it at some highway!
Anyway.
"New" motor then is a 482 cid bigblock chevy(DUHH!)
When we got the engine back to the shop,we started taking
it apart the same moment we got it off the pickup.
We soon found room for improvement
Out the modded OEM crank and Eagle rods came

As a note,i have to say that iīm amazed at how the hell
he got the bottom end to stay together with those parts
considering the power levels weīre talking here
From the "old" motor we saved both the crank and the rods
The BRC crank and Carrillo rods hasnīt failed us yet,
and i for one like to stay with a running conecept that WORKS!
