My photographic equipment

Camera bodies:

Minolta Maxxum/Dynax 700si
Minolta Maxxum/Dynax 3xi
Zenit-b (SLR-manual from the 60´s)

Minolta 3xi was the very first SLR camera I bought(in ´95 I believe). The more I learned about photography the more I required of the camera. The 3xi-model fulfilled my photographic needs for about 2 years, after that it was time to get a new camera that satisfied my new requirements. I sticked to Minolta and bought the Maxxum/Dynax 700si in September ´97. Since then I´ve mainly been using the 700. I´ve only been using the 3xi on occasions where I didn´t dare to use the more expensive 700(e.g. on party´s).
Last Christmas my father gave me his old SLR camera, the one he had used when he was younger, a Russian Zenit-b with accompanying lens system. He also gave me a electronic flash and a German WeimarLux exposure meter. I haven´t yet had the opportunity to use the Zenit, but will by summer at the latest.

Lenses:

Minolta AF 28mm f/2.8
Minolta AF 35-70mm f/3.4-4.5
Sigma AF 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6
Helios MF 58mm f/2.0 (for the Zenit-b)

So far I haven´t bothered about the quality of my picture, at least not on the lenses effect on it. But I have noticed that I am becoming more concerned with the matter.
Sigma is the lens I use most of the time, it covers a good range of focal distances. It´s when my main subject gets closer (~2m) and when using my close-up filter I use the Minolta 35-70mm.
Recently I decided to upgrade my lens equipment with the fixed focal length Minolta 28mm f/2.8.

Film:

Kodak T-max pro
Kodak Royal Gold 200 and 400 films.

Remaining photo equipment:

VC-700 Vertical Control Grip
Minolta 5400HS flash
hama +10/50mm close-up filter
Skylight-filter
A Lowepro PhotoTrekker backpack
