2 January
We left for the conference not knowing what we would be doing there.
Once there, we first found out that we would just go up and introduce ourselves.
But then Trevor felt we should do something and so Genevieve,
Grace and Benjie felt that we should do some worship together with their
choir, to turn the focus onto God and not on us. Elin had also felt that maybe
we should do worship. So that's what we did.
January 3
In the morning we prayed a lot about the conference and asked God about it.
It was supposed to be a short meeting but as all our meetings lately,
it turned out to be really long as we ended up surrendering to God after
sharing what we got from him. Benjie had felt that we had a choice to go
deeper with God, or we could just stay on the surface. In the conference we did something
not so common. We had people break into small groups and discuss what the
preachers had spoken about during the day, listen to God for what he wanted
to say through it, and then pray for each other.

This day they had a speaker - whom we refer to as "the apostle" - at the
conference who had been to Europe, and Sweden, and during his preaching he pointed us out
quite a bit - especially Elin - and
|
lifted us up as Westerners which made
us feel a bit uncomfortable and some felt in their spirits that it wasn't right.
January 5
We did Daisy on the floor and talked a little about identity, then Benjie
invited those who were touched by that to come up for prayer and while Benjie led worship we prayed
for the people that came up.

The theme for us in the conference today came to be prayer. Emily and Elin did the
prayer dance and then Emily called up everyone
under 15 on stage and had them sit there as she talked to them about prayer. Rick did some
freestyle which was also about prayer and communicating with God.
January 7
Benjie spoke (basically like a preaching) about relationship with God and to
KNOW him. We did the skrap (skit+rap=skrap) - ALEX - for the first time, Rick rapped
his testimony, Michèle did a dance to "Jesus lover of my soul" and Grace talked
about the Joshua generation. Then we said thanks and left.
