Grace and the Purple Dragons came back in the morning, along with the ConnectAfrica team, Trevor, Tex, Greg and BENJIE! It was so good to see him and the others again. In the early afternoon we took off towards the village in the bush. No one really knew the way and we got different directions from people by the road (hot climate culture: even if you don't know, you give directions to be nice...) so we turned around and went back a few times. The van was so full too and the road was bumpy so it wasn't the most pleasant trip and we didn't get there until like six or so. Grace and Benjie with Greg and Tex had to go back to Kampala (for doctor's appointment the next day) straight away, while the rest of us started setting up for the crusade. The crusade ended up going REALLY late (we were still there at midnight) but finally we got to leave and went to our hut-kinda-thing in the village. We had two rooms (girls/boys) where we squashed in and got to hear a baby cry and a cow mooing (what's the word?) as we tried to fall asleep.

The following morning the Purple Dragons and YWAM did a conference in the church. Chris and Ian spoke, then Emily got up to speak about a verse in Acts about sharing testimonies. She told about what happened in Ngalonkalu, and then she had people in the congregation stand up and share. One lady shared about how she and her husband used to be witchdoctors but then they came to Christ. The other witchdoctors in the area didn't like that so they put a curse on her husband that he would die in a certain amount of time. He didn't then, but later he did, and the church came to their house and prayed and he

was raised to life again - "and that's him over there", she said as she pointed him out! There was also a lady who'd been to the crusade the night before and she'd come up for healing because she had a breast tumour. Someone prayed for her and now she said the swollenness was gone! At the end of the conference we prayed for people for various things.

For the crusade, which endded up being as late as the night before, the rest of the Valley Vineyard team as well as Tex and Jana and Grace and Benjie came. The family reunited! In the crusade different people shared, we did some skits and Keith - the pastor from the valley - preached. Then we prayed for healing in pairs, after Keith did a little demonstration of how to do it. Rick had a bit of spiritual attack but the team prayed and then he was fine. "Anything the enemy tries he can't harm me". We had dinner - samosas - at midnight, after the crusade and then went to sort out who was sleeping where. Some had to sleep in the car, and we were five girls on those three mattresses but it wasn't so bad.

We woke up the next morning with Africans outside our door staring at us as we slept. We left to go to Cassanda on the back of the blue truck with ConnectAfrica so we were like 25 people on there or something like that! It turned out that there wasn't enough room for us all to sleep in Cassanda, so YWAM + Purple Dragons went back to Mityana. The Purple Dragons went back to Cassanda to do crusade while YWAM stayed behind in Mityana and the next morning left to go back to Kampala. Nice to get back after ten days away.
