But I went anyway, because if something cool did happen, I didn't want to miss it. But my theme for the weekend had been "there must be more than this" (and yes, I did have that song stuck in my head quite a bit). After talking to Genevieve about it some, I just decided that I would do my best and give a 100 % in it even though I've done the same thing so many times, just for God, to love him with all my heart, mind and soul and to honour him. And the cool thing was that God really honoured that. One thing was that Grace spoke on the Joshua generation, and one thing she said was "God is looking for people who say 'there must be more than this'"! Thank you God! Another thing is that I was pretty annoyed with kids staring at us so much all the time and so I didn't really want anything to do with them. But then I chose to try and love them and I picked this little boy up and held him for a while and I found I could actually love him. And for the altar call, not many kids came up but mostly youth and adults! Then we prayed for the sick and I pushed through and did that too. So guess what - GOD IS FAITHFUL!

The Purple Dragons, Grace, Greg and Trevor left the following morning.

SCHOOLS

We went to nine schools over these three days (that makes three per day) and each one of them was different. Some of them were primary and some secondary. We didn't have a sound system so we had to do only our skits without music and we did Holy is the Lord with Laura playing it on the guitar. So we did different things for each school.

In some we did all our funny skits, in some we shared a lot, in some we prayed for the students, in some we let the students pray for each other, in some Rick preached, in one we let them ask us questions. SO they were all different but at the beginning Genevieve encouraged us to step out because this is our outreach (and on the 8th we only had a month to go!), and by the end of the schools ministry we were doing a lot more speaking, listening to God and deciding what's next et c. The last school we went to waws a cool school. Not because of the school but because of God. Before we did our program (the program that we didn't have, as usual) Genevieve encouraged us to ask God for words for them. So we did. And Genevieve got up to speak and had Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalm 1 for them. She didn't really know what to say first but it came out and she was so excited she almost forgot to let us introduce ourselves. Then Elin shared the words she got - Jeremiah 17:7-8 (which is about trees like Ps 1) and Psalm 23 and shared about the car accident (which came to her as she read Ps 23 right there). Then Rick had John 15 about the vine and the branches. All trees! Emily shared Matt 6:25 and 34, and Michèle had Matt 7:24. We finished with Stomp to give them some entertainment too :-).

On the evening of the 9th we went to the town mayor's place for afternoon tea. It was great. Rick pretended to be Chinese and spoke Korean until the mayor's wife told him to speak English!
